I’ve used a set of these a family member owns 2-3 times to change the oil in my Honda Civic. I purchased my own set used them for the first time yesterday. They are sturdy and held up great. I only kept the car up for about 20-25 minutes but would feel comfortable leaving it for longer if I had to. Some things I recommend while using:
1. Always use on a flat stable surface! No gravel or dirt. If you attempt to use these on a non-stable surface they will break. This is also included on the warning label.
2. Have someone else spot you as you drive up. This will ensure you are driving straight up and the tires are fully on, and you won’t drive off.
3. If used properly these will hold on their own, but it’s always good practice to use jack stands as a backup just in case.

I read some reviews that some users said the ramps cracked when used. I changed my oil on my 2011 Chevy Silverado. Heavy truck with a full tank (26 Gallons) of gas. The truck pulled right up. No slippage and I had an appointment so I had to leave the truck on the ramps for over 3 hours. After the oil change – which was awesome because I didn’t need my floor jack, jack supports, etc. Backed the truck off the ramps and thought to myself – wished I had these 30 years ago! Also, the ramps are not heavy and store perfectly one on top of the other. Great product!

These ramps are the answer to access the underside of practically any consumer motor vehicle manufactured from ??? through todays times. Crawling under vehicles has changed much since the original “muscle car” days, so little space from the undercarriage to the floor in 21st. century cars, eh?
These ramps come from a simple mold and yet are so well developed & produced (thick poly), I would have no concern driving up on them with a one ton Dodge Ram. Wanted to get under my new Dodge Durango for basic maintenance functions. As we all know, modern vehicles are manufactured these days for you and I to “”NOT”” do so.
Now, thanks to RhinoGear, up in 60 seconds. Then, if desired, the 5 ton floor jack and stands can come out if need be. No more ‘geeze, is this a good place to jack’r’up’? Up on the ramps and everything becomes visible. Thanks RhinoGear, for such a great product!

While these ramps are a bit more awkward to use than a good old floor jack, they are easier to store/move around than a floor jack, and that’s why I chose them. The pair I got arrived in good condition, and are easy to use, if you carefully follow the manufacturer’s directions. They are wide enough for the tires on a full-size SUV (in my case, 2001 Suburban, GVW 8,500 lbs. or so), and have a gross vehicle weight (GVW) rating (6,000 lbs. ea., or 12,000 lbs. GVW) that is more than sufficient for my vehicle. They lift the raised end of the car about 6.5″, which is generally enough clearance to do pretty much anything you need to under there. I deducted one star only because the molding process leaves the bottom edges of the ramps a little out of a straight line, but that’s just a cosmetic issue that has no effect on their load-bearing capacity.
I also prefer these plastic ramps to their all-steel counterparts, because the ramp section is longer/more forgiving than the steel ones. They generally look and work as advertised, and are a good alternative for people who want to be able to safely raise one end of their car for minor maintenance work, and either can’t, or don’t want to have to store and lug a hydraulic floor jack around.
[Last point I would make as an addition to original review: instructions do require that you use a “spotter” or second person outside the car to tell you when you’ve reached the top of the ramp, but I’m guessing a lot of people just won’t have another person around to help with that, so you’ll have to run “blind” up the ramps. The first or second time you do this, it’s kind of un-nerving, but once you get used to it, it’s really quite easy. You just have to very slowly and methodically apply just enough gas to keep the car moving up; let off as soon as you stop moving upward, and then just let the car ease itself forward to the stops at the end of the ramps. If you’re bumped up against them, put the car in neutral to let the tires settle into the correct position on the top surface.
I would also recommend that you check the alignment of the tires on the ramps to make sure both are evenly centered, both side-to-side and front to back. If they aren’t, the load on the ramp isn’t evenly balanced, and you should take the car off the ramps, re-align your lines and try again. Practice makes perfect!]

As a aircraft technician I have seen and used endless variety of support ramps for everything from ground support equipment to vehicles to aircraft landing gears.
RhioGear makes a superior, high quality product, which once again proves Made in USA works, and works well.
These heavy-duty polymer ramps are very solidly built with multiple reinforcements inside to ensure years of rock-solid reliability.
Additionally, these ramps provide You a very generous clearance under any vehicle! I drove my medium-size SUV onto the ramps and was able to put a full-size water bucket (5 gallons) directly under the engine, and still had about 2″ of clearance!
THANK YOU RhinoGear for building in USA!!!

This is an honest review for an honestly excellent American product!

I use this to lift my 2008 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport (about 3100lbs) and my gf’s 2002 Saturn SL1 (about 2300lbs) and it works just great. No fear of it breaking or failing, but you should always give your car a quick shake to make sure its sturdy. When you do go up, and you hit the guards on the end, it will drag it forward a bit, so give yourself adequate room in your garage or driveway. I always go up with someone watching both wheels to make sure everything stays lined up and incase anything were to fail. Again, i have no reason to believe they will, but you really shouldn’t be taking any chances with your car or your life.

Works great. Good height. I actually jack the car up, then let it down on the ramps. I’m changing our my shifter and linkage assembly , and The Rhino ramps give me an extra piece of mind and more safety in addition to my horses.

These are absolutely amazing. Be safe though, get a couple of jackstands under the car on the frame once the car is on these as a safety plan B. Don’t be foolish. These ramps are plastic after all. The great thing was that I was able to change the oil in my BMW in less than 15 minutes. They start up low and can fit easily under low front bumpers, but an extra inch of height would’ve made these perfect for engine work other than just changing the oil. Awesome though….I’m stoked about these ramps. You’re going to love them.
